CPD Productions thrives on helping folks make their digital dreams come true. Whether it is photos or video, I want to help people capture, celebrate and archive the moments and events in their life.
Born is 1969 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School, and Grand Valley State University (B.S. in Information Systems). I reside in Roswell, GA since 1994. I married Deborah Wright in 1998. We have two young children; Amelia and Averie. I credit them for helping me re-discover the lens and for discovering video editing.
My early childhood was spent delivering newspapers and running a company that cut lawns. During high school one event changed my life; I purchased a 286 computer and my love for computers and technology was born.
After receiving my computer related degree from GVSU, I spent most of my time using computers for business purposes. I've built and used reporting system and front-end interfaces in various industries from small to large companies. I've built numerous applications that have been both client-server and web based and I often refer to myself as a "custom application developer."
As I mentioned above, I credit my kids for helping me find my way. Their births in the early 2000s trigger my re-discovery of the lens and helped me begin to use computers in a new way to create multimedia. As I worked to bring both the video and digital content to CDs, DVDs, streaming servers and media centers, I found my passion for video editing. I enjoy the visual and creative aspects of the process and the emotion the final products can invoke.
CPD is currently a part-time endeavor while I spend my days working for the New AT&T (Specifically Wireless AT&T formally Cingular Wireless) in an Information Technology role as a SharePoint administrator for Database Marketing of Customer Lifecycle Management.
I have always used computers in productive and positive ways. So, give us a call if there's a project on your mind that you would like to see realized.
Here's a bit of company trivia. CPD stand for Cool Pole D (or Dre) Productions. Cole Pole Dre (and the Babcia's) was the name of a fictitious band we referred to growing up. Someone, I believe it was my wife, suggested I use CPD as a company name. The idea stuck.
Drop us an email; I'm sure we can help.
